How to use Calming Lavender™
Pure Essential Oil
- Apply 5-6 drops on hands and rub directly into tack, reins and saddle. Can also be rubbed onto coat, avoiding un-haired areas (use Muzzle Oil Rub™ for these areas).
- To calm horse prior to stressful situation such as veterinarian visits, hold open bottle secure in hand and draw bottle close to horse's nostril. He will love it - better than candy!
You will find your horse will want to take it up each nostril separately and will move his head to do this. This is a great reward - healthier than a candy fruit treat!
- Calming Lavender™ Pure Essential Oil is ideal for keeping your horse focused and standing calmly for farrier while work is being done.
- Can be added to horse's bathing water for relaxation or added to fly repellants to enhance benefit of fly control (use about 10 drops).
