How to use Calming Lavender™ Muzzle Oil Rub™
- This product is an oil-base and can be applied directly to the muzzle. It has a long-term effect and does not need to be reapplied. Apply only once prior to work sessions.
- For the initial introducing, rub into hands, let your horse smell the scent on your hands for a few seconds (about 6 inches from the muzzle). Gently apply on the muzzle by rubbing softly.
- You will see your horse begin to relax, his eyes will get soft and blink slowly, respiration slows.
- As your horse relaxes he will take deeper, slower breaths getting more oxygen which feeds the blood and muscles.
- Muzzle Oil Rub™ can be used as a reward when a training task has been accomplished. A great positive re-enforcement!
- Use as an aide for riding instructors to apply to students before lessons to calm horse and new riders!
- Be sure to keep your own Muzzle Oil Rub™ to use on hands and arms - not only will your horse get used to the scent on you, you will love the moisturizing effect it has on your skin!
